1.7.27-2: Caption line issue of screen 4.1.0-20130513-2 with cygwin64

Whenever something in the terminal overflows a full screen, the
terminal does not scroll.
Instead, each new line "overwrites" the last one on the bottom row of
the window.
Someone else has also had this issue,

He worked around it by installing xterm, which I wouldn't like to.
Anyone else here know how to fix it? Thanks.
