Mintty 2.2.2: possible hang when breaking (CTRL+C) out of pinging unresponsive host

the problem is also present on 64 bit.
As ping on windows console is reacting at CTRL+C
I assume it is an interaction with mintty.

As workaround you should be able to kill ping
with task manager without killing mintty.
