IIRC, at one point I was able to use scipy in Cygwin, after a period of failed attempts. I believe that having installed gcc-fortran might have been part of the solution I stumbled upon. But now I'm back to being unable to install scipy in Cygwin. Is it supported officially? Or unsupported but sometimes possible? Thank you.
