upgrading Singular package?

Hello,
Singular (https://cygwin.com/packages/summary/singular.html)
went through a number of upgrades since 2015, and the latest version,
4.2.1, works on Cygwin.
Cf. https://www.singular.uni-kl.de/index.php/singular-download/install-windows.html

Is it possible to update the Cygwin's Singular package?
(we'd like to use it in SageMath (https://sagemath.org)).
