Note that the code snippet above (as shown) says to include libX11 headers
if not already included.

Thus unless there is another #if condition in the actual tk.h file, all use
of that header will need the X11 headers to either be in their standard
location or be already included beforetk.h .

Unfortunately, blindly running grep on a header file gives insufficient
context to determinecompile time needs, although the following command
may be helpful to those whounderstand the C preprocessor:

$ egrep '^[[:space:]]*#' /usr/include/tk.h
