b19 gdb/tcl screen colors

I'm having trouble with colors.  In particular, when I select an expression
in the source window, the color of the selected area is the same
as unselected - I can't see the selection.  Worse, on one machine, the color
is white on white so the selected expression disappears.

Where can I control the colors used by gdb/tcl?
