Erm... no, not really.  I've created a new file like this:

  #set -x

  mkdir -p /etc/cron.d
  chmod -f 755 /etc/cron.d

  mkdir -p /var/cron/tabs
  chmod -f 1777 /var/cron /var/cron/tabs

but I will not release a new cron for this trivial change.
