postgresql package and error message translations

That's an expensive feature you are annoyed at :)
export LC_MESSAGES=C
should do it theoretically.

However for me it didn't work.
You can delete or rename your locale catalog as last ressort.
   /usr/share/locale/ru/LC_MESSAGES/psql.mo
