gdalinfo - Driver: GTiff/GeoTIFF Segmentation fault

Hi

gdalinfo and other GDAL commands fail to access GTiff files properly 
(other formats works OK) with segmentation fault as a result.
I have used CYGWIN/GDAL without problems for years.
I don't know how to solve this.
Suggestions?
